Students learned all about radio and television media in the Spanish-speaking world! Students then made some radio ads in the style of some of the ads that they heard and reviewed. Enjoy their creations and let us know if you feel that they represented their products/services well!!!!

I cannot tell you how proud I am of these kids and their progress. The Conversation Set 2 video and this one are nearly night and day! Next, to make it even more spontaneous! Any advice for the kids or I as we move forward practicing our conversational Spanish? Students were asking to reflect on the experience with Army Linguist, Staff Sergeant Jacob. Halie - In my job career, I would like to use my language skills in psychology. This is the path that I have chosen, and I could you a lot of language and get more business for speaking two languages. I feel like continuing my language learning will help my job prospects. I will be able to go to other countries ti help with their problems and possibly get a even bigger salary. Do you feel like continuing your language learning is going to help or hurt your job prospects? My goals for my language skills is to be skilled in the language that if I travel to a Spanish speaking country I can hold a conversation with a native. I think that continuing my language will help in my field because I want to do business and I think it's essential to communicate with people from different countries
Students are practicing their conversations for every day questions and answers as well as ones that are more academically focused. Below you can watch a video of the students talking to each other and reacting to each other's answers. This was a huge step for many of the students. Enjoy!
